WHAT SHOULD I DO PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Exfoliate lips everyday starting 5 days prior to appointment. This will help to soften the surface of the lips and remove any dry/dead skin.
If prone to cold sores it is required to take the appropriate prescription to avoid a possible breakout. (procedure will/can trigger a dormant virus.). The prescription is to be taken starting the day of the treatment.

WHAT DO I AVOID AFTER TREATMENT?

All makeup (foundation & lip cosmetics) and facial products in the treated area.

Avoid workouts or activities that involve a lot of sweating, tanning beds, swimming pools and massage treatments. 

Always apply an SPF after healed to preserve pigments longer.

 

WHAT ARE THE AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS?

 It may be necessary to cold compress after treatment as the area is very sensitive and may cause swelling. A cold compress may be done for up to 24 hours. The area can be cleansed with appropriate cleanser 2-3 times a day and aftercare applied to treated area 2-3 times a day. Please do not rub or pick the treated area as this can cause the premature removal of pigment. Be sure to wash your hands more often and use hand sanitizer to prevent any possible spread of germs that may cause infection.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY TOUCH  UP?

Touch ups if needed can be book 4-8 weeks after the initial procedure.
